Last Day in the States!

This evening (9:40 p.m., Monday, Jan. 2) I leave for Botswana (by way of Germany and South Africa)! I will arrive in Gaborone on Wednesday afternoon sometime (Wednesday morning U.S. time). Please be in prayer for Kelly and me as we travel and also as we arrive in Botswana and begin to get adjusted to our new home. Thank you for all your support thus far and I look forward to being able to update you for the first time from Botswana!

Hey chica - you remain in my thoughts and prayers as you adjust to this next stage of your life. Hold fast to our Heavenly Father - for He is the same Lord over all the earth.. and when nothing else is familiar, He is right there beside you - and He will never leave nor forsake you.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Oh, I also wanted to tell you that I saw Hirachis(sp?) at the mall in Atlanta. I almost had a cow.

Emily, I loved the New York pictures! Is that the chemistry guy with you? Inquiring minds want to know! I have your picture right in front of my kitchen sink where (sadly) I spend lots of time, so I have kept you in prayer. Whenever my dishes have been washed, you have been lifted up. The Lord is certainly with you now as always.

Emily,

Somehow we managed to get 3 of your picture cards. They are strategically displayed so we are often reminded to pray for you. Vangie & Abby have picked up the habit as well. We thank God for you and know he has a great plan for your ministry. We're watching your blog for news.
